For sale - a pair of matching L. & J. G. STICKLEY Side Dining Chairs Model #1356. Both chairs are from the MISSION / ARTS & CRAFTS era and both have the original “The Works of L. & J. G. Stickley” labels. Made of solid Quartersawn Oak. Pinned on top and bottom. Wooden seats. Sold to me by NY dealer as “original finish” which I believe to be true.
Very good condition. Normal wear for items of their age. Both chairs are definitely solid enough to sit on…if you choose. I have only used them as decoration as they are beautiful and it serves to preserve their condition. As seen in L. & J.G. Stickley Catalogue - Year 1912 - Page 40. See provided photos as examples of chairs appearance, appeal and condition.
